On June 11, 2015, the UN Women's global HeForShe campaign was held at the Central University of Finance and Economics, jointly undertaken by DWLA and the School of Social Development. It received enthusiastic response from students. "HeForShe" invites global men to join the gender equality dialogue, aligning with DWLA's goal of creating a better development environment for the next generation of women. This event also resonates with our aspiration to provide an international perspective for students.

At the event, UN Women's Tong Zhuoli reviewed existing gender inequality issues, appealing for more men to join the "HeForShe" project and contribute to gender equality. The famous actor Tong Dawei accepted our invitation to cheer on HeForShe, attracting over 1500 student signups.
