2.Besides class time, how much time does the so-called co-building generally require?
Each group requires different time investment based on their tasks, such as Research needs to contact venues, communicate with teachers about course materials, conduct pre and post-class surveys, etc. Recruitment needs to modify recruitment brochures, make videos, expand recruitment, help sisters achieve goals, etc. Fundraising needs to find potential sponsors, plan charity sales, etc. But each group has members to share the workload, so it is collaborative division of labor. The amount each person takes on won't be too heavy. Dandelion sisters are a caring community who will coordinate based on everyone's time flexibility. Don't worry too much about time. Past Dandelion sisters all completed tasks in their spare time. Also, as Dandelion says, the more you contribute, the more you gain. Time investment depends on what you want to get out of it. 3.What specific co-building resources are needed?
Co-building includes: Co-building groups: Research, Recruitment, Publicity, Fundraising, Development. Complete group tasks. Resource co-building: Venues, materials, famous lecturers, sponsors, government & corporate projects, free media resources, free volunteers Financial co-building: Sponsorship over 50,000RMB supports Dandelion operations and development. 50,000RMB can exchange for one student spot. Action co-building: For those without the above resources, but possess outstanding skills in copywriting, data analysis, design and video production, leadership course development experience. Can participate in Dandelion work during spare time, ensuring 5-8 work days per month for over a year.
4.Can I participate in Dandelion without co-building resources?
Paid students do not need to co-build. Free and half-price scholarship students need to co-build.
5.Does participating in co-building affect Dandelion learning arrangements?
Co-building is a required, essential mechanism of Dandelion. Cannot join without co-building.
6.What is Dandelion fundraising used for?
Dandelion fundraising is to support Dandelion's development. The funds are used to cultivate high-level, high-potential women, arouse their social responsibility, improve leadership, strengthen women's voice and professional influence on policy-making, enable them to positively impact society - like the sisters here today who may join Dandelion after interviews. The funds can help improve Dandelion's curriculum and training system to benefit everyone more. Dandelion also uses part of the funds to support grassroots women, building women's autonomous learning platforms to help them gain more resources for self-improvement.
7.What elective courses does Dandelion offer? Can I take all of them?
Dandelion electives include: Dandelion Children Leadership - parent-child activities to strengthen communication and leadership. Women's Empowerment Workshops - lectures/courses on family, career, self-growth empowerment. Exclusive Private Events. One-on-One Private Tutoring - personalized guidance on specific needs.
Each module has specific content that will be shared after joining. Electives have different priority based on Dandelion participation and personal gain. We offer combinations like 6 workshops, 4 workshops + 1 private tutoring session, 3 private tutoring sessions, or 1 private event. You can choose based on your needs.
8.How are offline courses and activities guaranteed under pandemic conditions?
For force majeure factors like outbreaks, we will postpone or switch to a combination of online and offline classes based on most students' opinions.
9.What is the difference between class committee and regular students?
The committee needs to lead teamwork, investing more time and effort, but also gaining more leadership opportunities. Committee members who lead their groups to complete co-building tasks gain classmates' respect. Committee also plays an active leading role in major class activities, and needs to dare to take on challenges.
10.How will I stay connected with Dandelion after graduation?
